Axiom Menu V8 - How do I load the Deutsch version of FileFixer?

What displays on your Axiom menu is determined by the contents of a simple text file named aximenu.cfg. The aximenu.cfg can be modified in various ways to customize your Axiom menu, but in this article, we’ll show you how to modify your menu to load the Deutsch version of FileFixer.

The default location for the aximenu.cfg is C:\Program Files (x86}\Axiom\V8\aximenu\

Load the Deutsch version of FileFixer

Open the aximenu.cfg, and locate the lines where FileFixer is mentioned.

  1. Place a colon (:) in front of the first two FileFixer entries.
  2. Remove the colon (:) from the second two entries that contain either “Deutsch” or “german”.

Save your changes and restart MicroStation to see the updated Axiom menu. Now when you choose FileFixer from the menu, it will load the Deutsch version.
