CellManager - How do I extract cells from design files to create a new cell library?


These steps walk through creating a cell library from cells in your existing design files.

  1. Load CellManager from your Axiom menu.

  1. Press the <Extract…> button.

  1. Next to the Files: field press the <Select…> button, then navigate to and select all design files you would like to extract cells from.
  2. Next to the Cell Seed File: field press <Select…>. By default, you’ll start in the directory with all MicroStation seed files. Choose one or navigate to a custom seed if needed.
  3. In the Output Cell Library: field, enter the full path and file name for the new cell library.

When complete, the new library will contain all tagged cells from the selected design files.
