This article walks you through converting your stacked fractions to linear fractions in multiple files.

This article uses the built-in Modify text… custom feature of Global File Changer to perform this task.

1. Load Global File Changer.

2. Go to Settings | Restore Factory Defaults…, and press <Yes> when prompted.
   This is a precaution to ensure there are no other features or settings active that might impact your result.
3. Next to the Design Files: field, press the <Select...> button.
4. Either drag and drop your files into the Choose Files to Process dialog box, or navigate to and select your files for processing. Press <OK> when finished.

5. Go to Custom | Modify text…

Toggle on various text types in the Text to Process section. Only Text and Text Nodes are selected by default.

6. Choose the Advanced tab.
7. In the Advanced Control section, locate the Fractions: setting, then set it to Remove stackfractions.

8. Go to File | Save to save your changes, then press <OK> to return to the main dialog box.
9. Press <Start> to process your files.

When the process is complete, all stacked fractions for selected text types will become linear fractions.
