Global File Changer - How can I select all instances of a named cell in my active model?


This article walks you through selecting all instances of a named cell in your active model.

  1. Load Global File Changer.

  1. Go to Selection | Element selection…
  2. Press <Clear All Types>.
  3. Under Element Types, click on the white arrow next to Cell.

  1. In the Cell name field, enter the name of the cell you would like to highlight.

  1. Press <Tab> on your keyboard, then press <Add> and <OK>.
  2. Under Selection Sets, press <Add> and <Test>.

All instances of the cell with the specified name will be selected in the active model.
