Why isn't the Axiom product installer listing all of the Bentley applications I want to install for?

If you are trying to install your Axiom software and the installer is not listing or showing the Bentley applications you want to install for, there are a few possible causes for this.
Wrong Installer
You could be using the wrong installer for the versions of the Bentley software you want to install Axiom products for. For example you could be attempting to install with an Axiom products for V8i installer, where you want to install for Bentley CONNECT products. Or vice versa.
In this case, you may see the following message: "No compatible Bentley [version] application was found by this
installer for the Axiom [product name] products you are trying to
install."
Version Incompatibility
You may be attempting to install Axiom software for a MicroStation version that we haven't yet added support for. As of 1 June 2026 we support up to MicroStation 2026. If you attempt to install for MicroStation 2027 (not yet released at the date of this entry), it's not going to work.
In this case, you may see the following message: "No compatible Bentley [version] application was found by this installer for the Axiom [product name] products you are trying to install."
Bentley Verticals
If you install for a Bentley vertical product such as OpenBridge Designer, you may not see that Bentley product available during a typical installation. No problem. Just perform a "Custom" installation. Attached are directions for installing to verticals.
